The minimum hardware requirements of the Gold Dental Office Software are:

• Processor: Intel® Pentium® processor (or comparable) at a minimum of 1.4 GHz
• Memory: Minimum of 1 GB of RAM.
• Hard Disk: 10 GB of free space for our application.
• E-Claims submission: External 56K US Robotics® modem (non USB) for CDAnet® or high speed Internet (for ITRANS®). NOTE: If you will be sending to Alberta Blue Cross, a USR external modem is required.
• Backup- USB Hard disk/memory device (should have multiple devices for redundancy).
• Printers - Hewlett Packard® LaserJet® P3015 or similar
• Internet - High speed internet is required for ITRANS™ claim submission and is strongly suggested to facilitate superior software support.
• Microsoft Windows® XP, Vista® Business or Windows® 7 (32- or 64-bit). NOTE: Symantec® PcAnywhere® HOST is required for Gold technical support.
• Word Processor - Microsoft® Word

Your hardware vendor must be responsible for the installation, setup and testing of the following components: computer, modem, backup system, printer and the network.
